Moé Moé Rabu

This episode brings us a somewhat proper introduction to Sayako, and continues on from last episode’s little incident. Sayako is definitely a character that will bring about much laughter to the show, not that there isn’t enough, but more is always good. So far her and Miyako were already bringing in the laughs with how Miyako was avoiding Sayako, but I think the big winner is how Miyako starts discovering that kendo is fun, because you get to hit people. Well it is a good way to vent anger.

Impressions

Plenty of development for both Sayako and Miyako in this episode as well. Firstly we see Sayako’s past with Kirino and how she is a part of the kendo club. She is such a random character which makes it fun to watch her go crazy over a lot of things. Plus that eycatch seems to show that a few buttons will fly off her shirt, not that it’s a bad thing. Next is Miyako. We already know that she joined the kendo club because Dan-kun is a member, but I wonder why she is so attached to Dan-kun. I do hope we get to see some development on this part as I do find it interesting.

I was a little surprised at how everyone now knows about Miyako’s true personality. Originally I thought they would keep it as an on going joke but I guess this could work. They would’ve found out sooner or later, but seriously, Dan-kun is pretty dumb for not noticing the other side of Miyako. I wonder if Miyako will show her dark side when it comes to the practice match. By far Miyako shows tobe the most interesting character, and the one with the most development, but we’re still left with one girl to be introduced, so hopefully she’ll come along soon.
