So who would’ve thought that a school trip to the school would be different? Well from Sora’s point of view, it is different. Different in a way that most of us would perceive this as just a another day at school, but in fact, it’s a way to reflect back on the memories without the hustle and bustle of the daily grind. This episode we look back to the past and how Sora, Natsumi, and Hazuki ended up joining the art club and how they first met. Still I think it’s nice how the three girls were thinking back to that point in time, even though they were apart. Similar minds?

With a new piece of equipment added to my growing arsenal of camera equipment, I’ve decided to take a step backwards once again. When I mean backwards, I mean going back to the basics and the trial and error of taking photos of figures indoors. It has indeed been a long time I took photos of figures indoor, but I can assure you there’ll be plenty of other figures photographed indoors, due to them being rather…. charming shall we say. Anyway, hit the jump as this time, it’s Alter’s Hazuki Dress version from Tsukuyomi ~Moon Phase~.

Continuing on from last episode, this time we get to see all the fights between the girls, and I would have to say that despite it being a very short and quick bout, it’s definitely the best episode so far. Most of the girls were kicking arse, even Miyako who was still just a beginner, and really, Tamaki is just unbeatable. Though I can see how tough it was for Tamaki to use half her ability when asked by Toraji, as it’s probably something Tamaki is not really accustomed to. But to me, it feels as if she isn’t using her full strength majority of the time. It’s more like she’s well-refined in the basics and can execute them well.

Halfway through the series already and we once again have an episode focused on my least favourite character. So far we’ve had more character development on Koko and Minatsu than any of the other girls in the series, which annoys me to no end. However there is still some enjoyment to be found in this episode and that is seeing Minatsu in a different light. I myself usually overlook the fact that Minatsu is a robot, but in this episode, we see things through her eyes and we see a deeper reason to why she hates humans. She feels that humans were holding her back when she was created, and she still feels that that hasn’t change over the time that she has been asleep.

Ever since I got my Canon 400D since October last year, I’ve always wanted a new lens. In fact I had several lenses that I wished to obtain, but due to working a dead end job as a long life night filler for a supermarket chain, there was no way I could gather the funds required to purchase any camera equipment. However all that changed once I got myself into a full time job and started earning real money. So after a few weeks of accessing my finances, I finally took the plunge, and went out and bought myself a Canon 60mm f2.8 macro lens.

It was too good to be true. This episode was actually disappointing as I was hoping for some awesome fight scenes in Hayate’s battle, but he ended up winning them with next to no effort. The only decent scene was Hayate fighting Hinagiku since he at least had some action. Still, it was pretty awesome seeing Hinagiku in action, and against Hayate it was surprising that she lost so quickly. Oh and she is such a tease when she called Hayate a pervert.

Opening Sequence 2:
OP2: “Shichitenhakki Shijou Shugi” by KOTOKO
A more fast paced song than the 1st OP, which is good since the opening sequence itself shows a bit of action happening. We’re also shown glimpses of some of the new characters that will be introduced in the second half of this series, but the most interesting one would be this one. I still wonder if that is the Himegami that was mentioned before, and does that mean Hayate will meet him eventually?
