Sydney International Motor Show 2007 – Part 2

Continuing on from Part 1, here is Part 2 of my collection of photos from the Sydney International Motor Show. The total time it took me to get from one end of the Exhibition Centre to the other side was roughly 2.5-3 hours. Normally it would take me 4-4.5 hours to fully go around the Motor Show. Anyway, hit the jump to see the rest of the photos.

Keep in mind, none of these photos have had any post-processing done to them. Mainly because I’m too lazy to fix them up, plus not many are actually going to see these. But majority turned out really well so it’s all good. This year I didn’t use the 580 EXII as flash bounces off cars really well and can most of the time ruin the photo. I think next year I’ll give it a shot with a flash but with a proper diffuser as well.

This year’s Motor Show was disappointing, due to the lack of anything new and exciting. There weren’t many concept cars this year compared to last year’s show. Neither the less, the Motor Show was still enjoyable to attend. You get to see all the cars that you will never get the chance to own, even sit in them. Though I spent quite some time with the RX-8 since I’m quite serious about saving up for one. Well that or a 350Z. It was also good to see the new Honda Civic Type R there as I’ve seen only one driving on my way to work, and no where else. But all up, this year was rather boring, but it also doesn’t help that I had to rush through in 3 hours, and since I went with my step-dad, we also got split up about halfway through. Hopefully next year will be better.

Finally, been waiting for these =D.

Some of the pics in part 1 were a little dark, but good pics. It’s such a shame we don’t get international car shows here (none that I know of). As for the Honda Civic Type R, I haven’t seen one locally yet, but I’m keeping as eye out for it. RX-8 eh, better hold back on those merchandise spendings then =P.

I sat in the Lotus Elise =D.
