Impressions
This is the second detective series this season and frankly, I find this better than Suteki Tantei Labyrinth. The premise is a bit more interesting in which Neuro is a demon who has an appetite for riddles/mysteries. Yako is your airy head girl who has a large appetite but who also has a tragic past, and that is how she came about meeting Neuro. Of course I’m sure later on it’ll elaborate more on this but with bits and pieces at a time, much like when you try to solve a mystery.
The animation is solid in this series, and mixed in with the shounen style of humour, I found it to be funny, and with Neuro’s personality changing at the flip of a coin is pretty amusing. Although I found this to be enjoyable to an extent, I don’t think I could watch anymore of this. Personally I don’t like mystery/detective type shows all that much, and although this has a good premise, I get a feeling that we’ll be seeing monsters and stuff soon, given that Neuro himself is a demon from Hell.
I’ll give this an episode or two just to see if it gets any better, but this is definitely not a series that I will blog.
