With the continuation of the school festival, the love mess continues on. With Kotonoha’s confrontation of Setsuna, I don’t think it was all that great as it really didn’t add to the tension that is going around already. Though the play that Setsuna was watching I thought was a good way to reflect the actions that she took and it was almost like this play was written for her.

Impressions
Some nice development on the Otome side of things, but she’s only being dragged into the whoe love mess that is building up. Though it makes me think what would’ve happened if Otome didn’t stop Makoto when he was going to see Kotonoha. perhaps Makoto would be dancing with her at the folk dance? Or perhaps he would’ve had sex with her instead in the lounge room.
Speaking of Kotonoha, I still admire her determination that she believes her and Makoto are still dating, and that is the only thing she has to defend herself against Otome and friends. The ending to the episode was a bit of a surprise as we see Kotonoha’s ribbon falling off with the red ripples. I can probably guess what’s happened here and frankly I’m surprised.
With the complications building up, I can’t wait for the next few episodes.
