Yes it’s the one thing that most people are always looking forward to seeing, cosplay photos! It has been a whole year since the last Animania, and it’s also been a year since I got the shiny camera. Well it’s that time of year again for all of Sydney’s otaku’s to converge into the one place and do what we do best, and that is indulge ourselves in enjoying things about anime. I return once again, but this time armed with a new addition to the camera arsenal, the Speedlite 580 EXII. So has Animania improved since last year, or has it still not changed? Quite a bit happened in this episode with a lot of character development especially with Setsuna. We see her primarily trying to get Makoto to be faithful to Sekai, though in the end I’m not sure if she succeeded. For her to offer herself to make Makoto keep his promise was a bit of surprise, though deep down I think Setsuna wanted it more than just an agreement and that she wanted it to be more than just a memory.

With the continuation of the school festival, the love mess continues on. With Kotonoha’s confrontation of Setsuna, I don’t think it was all that great as it really didn’t add to the tension that is going around already. Though the play that Setsuna was watching I thought was a good way to reflect the actions that she took and it was almost like this play was written for her.

Ever since I got my shiny camera last year, I’ve always wanted more equipment such as a flash, different lenses, a tripod, bags, filters etc. Over the year I’ve come to gotten use to using what I only had and can see the limitations with just the standard equipment. But today, I finally bought my first piece of serious equipment. The Canon Speedlite 580 EX Mark II!

Since the birth of Moé Moé Rabu, heck even since the old days of Adunitisity, the growth of this blog has indeed a somewhat exponential ride. Being a part of aggregators such as AnimeNano and the AnimeBlogger Antenna has indeed lead brought my most of my visitors, there are still those who don’t browse through the depths of the Internet. Over the past few months, I’ve had people ask me the URL to Moé Moé Rabu whenever it came up in our conversation and it becomes difficult for those to scribble it down let alone remember it.
Having attended SMASH last month, Slykura from Madman Entertainment brought up the idea of me getting business cards. Now that wasn’t too bad of an idea. He mentioned the idea of using Flickr and one of their affiliates to produce business cards. So a bit of researching and I came across MOO, which offer a service to print the pictures you upload to Flickr onto cards and various other items. This is what I produced:
