Somehow I knew an episode like this would eventually happen. Nagi trying to be helpful and trying to understand the working class was pretty funny. Even moreso by thinking that she is doing everything all good. But of course not doing this for a better understanding of the lower class, but in the quest to become a better mangaka.

Impressions
Hayate comes to the rescue to ensure that Nagi doesn’t go overboard with her “service”. But really, he’s just making sure she doesn’t kill anyone with her unique cooking. Though the best bits is the comparison of how much life experience Hayate has over Nagi, and really, it seems that nothing can beat Hayate at this point in terms of jobs. Kind of makes me wish that I had all of Hayate’s awesome skills.
In the end, Hayate encourages Nagi by saying that she has a talent for passion, which kind of feels a little cheesy to me. But really, this is anime, there’s no deep meaning to anything in this type of show. I just want to see more Hinagiku. Plus it was nice to see Isumi get some screen time. She hasn’t appeared in the show for a while. Next episode is the swimsuit episode. I look forward to that!

I liked how Maria was angry at Hayate for Nagi’s attempt at “helping”. It ended with Maria probably cleaning up everything, Nagi has to realize some things take time to excel at…including being a mangaka ^-^.
