So with Makoto and Kotonoha’s relationship getting off to a start, we finally see a sign that Makoto’s true feelings may start to swing the other way. Although it is only a small sign, I think we can almost see the reason why he said such a thing about being with Kotonoha. With the episode pace going a bit slow, we mainly have Makoto visiting Kotonoha and playing with her little sister Kokoro, and this could only be a small factor. I believe the main factor that made Makoto think this way is from Kotonoha’s uneasiness of their relationship.

Impressions

Kotonoha’s uneasiness about their relationship sparks from the point of the two of them calling each other by their surnames, but the other point I can also see is from Otome and her friends ganging up on Kotonoha. Speaking of which, I wonder how Makoto will react when he finds out that Otome is bullying Kotonoha. I know what happens in the game so I hope to see something similar to that, but anything could happen.

But for now, Makoto is still going out with Kotonoha, and we’ll have to see something big for Makoto to hook up with Sekai. Though I wonder if Sekai will act upon what Makoto said, but at this point, I don’t think she’ll try anything too drastic. Setsuna knows Sekai’s true feelings and we may see Setsuna help out Sekai later on in the series.

So it appears that we will be having different endings themes for each episode. I’m still hoping that we’ll hear a track from the game’s OST, and with this only being the start of the series, we just might. Also to note, Kokoro is so damn CUTE. I never actually considered her to be that small in comparison to Kotonoha and Makoto. In the game you can’t really tell how big characters are since a lot of the time it’s focused on their faces.
