Ebihara Chinami has transferred to a new school, however on her way to school she was cautious in avoiding any electronic devices because when she gets nervous, she emits a strong electromagnetic wave from her body. After a day of schoo, and being guided by a fellow classmate, Komatsuna Keiko, Chinami comes across the Science Research Club and spots the only member, Kannagi Kotaro. Eventually Kotaru expresses his interest in Chinami’s body, but Chinami interprets this differently in which causes all the electronic devices around the two to go havoc.

Impressions
Usually when I start watching a show, I tend to enjoy the first episodes. But in this case, it’s different. For a first episode this was really slow and boring that I nearly feel asleep (although watching a few episodes of Transformers before this could also be why). Now most first episodes introduce the characters but I think there was more time spent on seeing Chinami avoiding all the electronic devices around her than any real introductions.
Chinami is voiced by a new comer, Hashimoto Mai, and she does an alright job. There really isn’t much character to Chinami at this point besides being very shy and a worrywort around electronics. Kotaru is voiced by Nomura Katsuhito, whose name doesn’t ring much of a bell, but even then, Kotaro is just as plain and boring as Chinami at the moment. Even with such more well known seiyuu’s such as Momoi Halko as Keiko, and Nazuka Kaori as Sonomi, this show has got to show more promise to keep me interested.
The impression I get is that it may turn out interesting later on in the series given the upbeat and fast paced Opening Theme, which is just instrumental. Although the animation style is a bit of a let down as I’m not a fan of the character designs but as well as the quality isn’t what Studio Deen are limited to. Come on, think of Simoun! But anyway, a definite not blogging, and probably at this point, not continuing to watch.
Also I’m not sure what the Ending Theme is as I can’t find any info on it.
