If there was one thing about Hayate no Gotoku I liked at the start was the introduction of characters. Well it’s been a while since we had any new characters and with Nonohara Kaede joining in, it made this a pretty funny episode. I always find it amusing how Hayate always seem to find an opposing force that he is to deal with, but moreso now with another butler. But with all the talk about having special techniques and doing training shows that were are inching towards what Hayate will become soon, and that is a combat butler.

For an episode that goes for 15 minutes, some reason this felt a little longer than it did. Although unlike the first episode, I didn’t this as funny as it would be since it reuses a lot of jokes that we’ve seen in other anime series, but the best part was Tsuyuri going “Oujou-san, you dropped some porn”. But seeing Najimi taking her first steps into the doujin world somewhat reminds me of myself, lol, but of course not to that extreme.

Hayate attends his first day at Hakuou Academy anticipating on experiencing a high school life again. Though he meets another butler named Himuro, who manages to steal Hayate’s necktie. The next day Hayate manages to introduce himself to the class after Yukiji’s somewhat exaggerated description of him. Later that day Hayate and Nagi are at the kendo club with Hinagiku where Hayate is then challenged by a member, but hayate is in fact going to fight another butler, named Nonohara Kaede.

As stated at the end of the Haruhi review, I had another figure review coming up, and I’m hoping to clear the figure photography backlog now that I have full weekends to actually do stuff.
