It has officially been announced that StarCraft 2 will be Blizzard’s next game. The report of the Blizzard Worldwide Invitation coverage can be found at IGN as they also have images of what the ingame graphics will look like. StarCraft was the game that made me enjoy RTS games and back in the days I used to play everyday after school for hours and because of StarCraft, it’s how I got my handle for many online communities. So I’m one happy panda about this being announced, though I could see it coming for sure. The StarCraft 2 announcement trailer is already up on YouTube so check it out here.

Wow! thanks so much for the news, Starcraft is my most favorite strategy game of all time. I can’t believe in my eyes when seeing those awesome images & videos of a totally new 3D Starcraft. Can’t wait until the release day!
