I like ADV's dubbing more than Funi's especially with Elfen Lied but thats just my opinion. I have high hopes and know they won't be crushed as far as for so called low quality they release high quality products just because there monthly releases doesn't mean it will be a shoddy product just my 2 cents though.

DiGiKerot: I haven't seen any of Funimation's recent releases but from what I have seen of their past ones, they have done some decent products. Also Funimation tends to select a better voice cast than ADV ever would.

HisuiIBMPower4: Most US released DVDs come with both a dubbed and subbed track. But yes, hearing Misuzu speaking english would be WTF.

As far as I remember ADV always add English dubbing to their licensed anime.Misuzu speak English will be quite unimagieable

We're probably better off with ADV getting this license than Funimation, to be quite honest. A lot of Funimation releases have video encoding issues (particularly in the OPs due to their multi-angle policy). I've been watching their Tsukuyomi DVDs recently, and it's really noticeable there thanks to the use of colour in the show, but most of their releases have just a touch more compression noise than I'd like.

ADVs production quality for their releases, on the other hand, has been pretty good recently - I can't really think of anything to complain about for any of their releases anyway. We probably would have gotten more silly tat if it was Geneon, but whatever.

I've got both the R2 LEs of the Air movie as well for some reason ^^; Didn't splurge for all the TV disks, though - the woeful quality of the first disk put me right off.
