In commemoration of the Australian and New Zealand troops who fought in Gallipoli, today is ANZAC Day. For those not knowing of what ANZAC Day is, read about it here. Remembering what those soldiers did for our country to help make what Australia is what it is today, I salute to you all.

I’m impressed that anyone remembers Gallipoli at all anymore…although my countrymen generally have less interest in history than in who’s left on American Idol. Anyone who wants to start a war should have to go back in time and serve in the trenches of Gallipoli for a week first–I’m thinking that’d bring about world peace in no time.
