- The girls are thinking up the concept for the school festival and Manabi figures it best to get the help of the entire school body. Mei suggests the idea of a promo and helps create a CG promo.
- Eating ramen afterwards, Manabi and Mikan praise Mei, but also comment how they are not needed in the student council if they had someone like Mei. Mei starts to remember her memories from elementary school and ends up leaving the group.
- With Mei not turning upto school to help out, Manabi, Mikan, and Mutsuki decide to continue on with the promo. Mutsuki eventually visits Mei but avoids the conversation about difficulties with the promo video.
- After Mutsuki leaves, Mei is curious to see what they are doing and remotely logs onto the webcam and is surprised to see the girls working hard. Having slept for a few hours, she checks again and is surprised again to see them still going on.
- Mei listens in as Mutsuki brings up the topic of why Manabi is fixated on Mei. Manabi feels that Mei is searching for something by attending school and that Manabi wants to become friends with her so they can eat together, study together, and play together. She wants to cherish these three years and hopes to hear that Mei found what she was looking for at the end of their school life. Mei is moved with tears and decides to finish off the promo video for them.
- The next morning, the girls wake up to find that the promo has been completed by Mei. However when they come to present it to the school, they have a computer error. Manabi doesn’t want to give up and suddenly Mei comes in and tells Mikan exactly what to do to fix it, which ends up impressing the school body.
- With the success of the promo vid, Mei ends up joining the student council and the girls throw a party for her.

Impressions
This episode explains Mei’s problem of fitting in with others and I think it went rather well. A lot of character development on Mei and with the amount of pressure show from her childhood is rather understandable. No one likes to have all the work pushed onto them even if you are the class president, although the traumatic results can be pretty bad. With Mei’s tsundere character, the way she makes an excuse when she tries to help would be a way to show that she does try to fit in with others and that she was looking for that something. Since Manabi came to Seioh, Mei has changed quite a lot and it’s nice to know that Manabi can even influence a change in Mei.
I am rather surprised that we got a character focused episode this early into the series as all the characters don’t really have much to be unique about, with the exception of Manabi. But it was nice to be able to balance the comedy and seriousness without each either being too confusing or distracting, but it can still maintain it within the main storyline. So far what I like best about this show is mainly the comedy, and of course the cuteness. Though a few things are slightly exaggerated, like Mei’s outer body experience and her barging into the hall, but that is what adds to the greatness of this show.
Also to note, not enough Momo this episode!

What I liked about this episode is that it showed how awesome ufotable can be. Placing a spin on something already done before, the imagery, facial expressions, and character reactions were something different than what I would expect. :3
I love this anime. Not only because Yui Horie and Aya Hirano give their voice, but because its lot of good feelings (especially in this episode).
And I want a wallscroll with this final victory pose!
