- After the tournament, the student council members of the other schools gather in the Seiou Student Council cafe with Manabi hoping for them to just have fun. But the other members feel that they should discuss important matters. Manabi wasn’t prepared for such a thing, but luckily Aikou Academy’s student council president, Kakuzawa Takako, helped them out by starting talks about school festivals.
- The next day, the girls visit Takako in hope to get ideas for their school festival, but seeing Aikou’s programme gets them discouraged. Before the girls leave, Takako stops them to say something but claims that it’s nothing.
- At home Manabi is thinking and created a scrapbook for school festival ideas. She ends up calling everyone to meet her at the school.
- Manabi reveals that she understands what Takako wanted to say. They don’t have to have a fair like Aikou’s, but instead something that only they can do. Having a white canvas to work with, they can think of anything they want. Seeing Manabi’s enthusiasm, Momo, Mei, Mucchii, and Mikan now feel that they can do it.

Impressions
Well the looks like the story is moving along now with the start of the school festival preparations. I can see the school festival being a way to present Manabi’s ideals about having a fun school life especially with the ideal of it being unique, especially with Manabi’s dynamic personality. Speaking of her personality, most of the episode we see a non-energetic side to Manabi which is rather surprising, but after her realisation and speech, it shows that she is always thinking positive. Probably why she always says “Massugu GO!“. The painting of the school and Manabi growing wings and flying also reflects Manabi’s dynamic personality and is a a concept that you don’t see often in anime series.
A few humourous moments in this episode but I’d have to say the best would be seeing Mei get smacked by the ball whilst going on about dodgeball techniques. Other moments include Mucchii and Momo’s reaction to Mikan’s sudden sprout of love and the girls yawning on the train.
We are also introduced to a new character, Takako. I really like her character so far and I’m sure we’ll see more of her during the actual school festival. But it’s also nice to see a somewhat more reasonable looking female student who isn’t a fat loli (it’s the simplest way for me to say it) and looks just like Shizuno from ZegaPain.
