• A few days have passed since the mission and Kuu decides to make a cake. Setsuna hands Kyoshiro over the data of people travelling to and from Higashigetsu Fuma Academy. Setsuna also asks if they have to take Kuu with them to Joto Academy, but Kyoshiro asks why she is asking.
• Kuu ends up making a mess, so Setsuna and Kuu take a bath. Setsuna asking if she should help, Kuu thinks she should do it herself as it has no meaning if she had help. Kuu tells her that she can also do something for Kyoshiro, but Setsuna simply says that she is his sword and fight. With Setsuna being called away, Kuu remembers that Setsuna is an Absolute Angel and that Kyoshiro wants to destroy them. She feels that she wouldn’t be able to bear what Setsuna is doing.
• Coming out of the bath, Kuu says that she wants to go out and buy new utensils and more ingredients for the cake, so Kyoshiro decides to go with her.

• Mika kisses Kaon so that she can only replenish mana from her alone. Kaon then swears loyalty to Mika, with Himiko standing there watching. Mika then orders Kaon to bring her here. Walking outside with Kaon, Himiko gives Kaon a crescent moon ear ring, but Kaon simply takes it and walks off without saying anything.
• Shopping with Kyoshiro, Kuu feels as if they were newlyweds. Having bought all the items she needed, she takes a small detour to pick out some jewellery. Finally spotting a white horse, Kyoshiro also spots it and puts it on Kuu, which makes Setsuna somewhat shocked. Afterwards, Kyoshiro reveals that he likes the colour white as it was Kazuya’s favourite colour as well. So Kuu decides to make a white cake.
• However they were then attacked by Kaon, who Setsuna feels is different. She was right as she is more powerful and ends up defeating Setsuna. Kaon then proceeds to attack Kyoshiro, but because Kuu was in the line of fire, he saves her. Setsuna comes out of the lake asking for Kyoshiro to give her mana, but Kyoshiro is stuck choosing between Kuu and Setsuna. After hearing Setsuna cry out, he runs over to Setsuna, but Kuu ends up being captured by Kaon before disappearing.
• Having returned with Kuu, Himiko welcomes Kaon back, but she simply ignores her and takes Kuu straight to Mika. After kissing Kaon to replenish her mana, Mika introduces herself to Kuu as Ayanakouji Mika, which surprises Kuu.
• Meanwhile Kyoshiro is healing Setsuna. But with Kaon being more powerful, Kyoshiro says they will need backup, so his plan is to lure Batraz to Higashigetsu Fuma Academy in hoping to get her to fight Kaon.
• Mika reveals that she is indeed Kyoshiro’s sister, but she also tells Kuu that Kazuya may be nice and gentle, but he is a ruthless person like a demon. Kuu however feels that Mika is the one allowing Absolute Angels do bad things such as destroying things and sucking people’s lives. Though Mika says that they are simply swords and that it would be cruel to not use them. Kuu persists that it’s still bad even if they are different from humans and it’s cruel to force them to fight. Though Mika then realises that Kuu doesn’t know what she really is. So she orders Himiko to tell her. Hesitant at first but Himiko ends up kissing Kuu and a light is coming from Kuu. Mika reveals that Kuu is also an Absolute Angel with Kuu standing there shocked.

Impressions

Well who didn’t see that one coming? It was rather obvious to see that Kuu was an Absolute Angel given the power that she has. Though now what will Kuu do now that she knows that she is also an Absolute Angel. Knowing that she is one, her feelings for Kyoshiro may change since she also knows that he wants to destroy them. Now with Mika being revealed as Kyoshiro’s sister, this now all seems to revovle around a family feud with each family member having an Absolute Angel.

We are also seeing jealously arising in Setsuna, which I like. Setsuna probably would have an idea that Kuu is just like her but to see Kyoshiro’s attention towards Kuu is probably what’s sparkling her jealously. Her devotion to Kyoshiro is somewhat scary and with her growing jealously may spark a conflict between her and Kuu.

Also I couldn’t help but laugh when they went shopping. Kuu’s reactions were simply gold. Although being a girl as well, she is quite a romantic at heart and that is what I like about Kuu, besides the occasional letters to her prince. Next episode we see if she can accept what she is see if Kyoshiro and Setsuna can rescue her.
