I know as well that it isn't the end of the Shiori arc but how KyoAni ended it saves it till later, but it does frustrate me to have to wait till the near end. Her in-game story is the least compatible with the harem format and also the most mundane, and to add to that, she's not nearly as popular or as well known as Ayu. KyoAni could have chosen to end things with her only at the expense of Ayu's story, which is the most central one to the whole Kanon plot. It was never going to happen, not in a million years.
