Yoake Mae Yori Ruri-iro Na ~Crescent Love~ - 06

Members from the Earth and Moon governments are in an argument, but the President calms them down saying that the only thing that should be hot is the tea. In the President’s office, she is shown images of a UFO but diverts the topic by asking Sayaka about how Feena is doing. But Sayaka tells her that everything is fine.

Over at Trattoria Samon, we have Feena working as a waitress again with Jin admiring her wishing she would come everyday. But of course he makes a comment relating to Natsuki and gets knocked outside by Natsuki. Samon asks if Tatsuya can go out to buy groceries and Feena tags along.

Walking along carrying groceries, Feena stops to admire the mug that she saw a while back. Tatsuya notices this and ends up buying her the mug. Tatsuya assumed she wanted it, but Feena explains that she only found it cute, but she ends up accepting it. Watching from a distant is Wreathlit, and suddenly we hear a voice talking to Wreathlit, called Fuyuka, reminding her of their objective.

Moe Moe Rabu ni Youkoso (formally known as Adunitisity)

Well its finally done! Moved to a new hosting with more space to boot, more bandwidth to burn, but also a new name! And a bit of a face lift to the blog with a new banner and changed of colour from that awful green. I was meaning to do change that ages ago but I got lazy. So today I spent many hours looking for pictures, which none I really liked to use, finally realised I wanted a Planetarian type banner, spent more hours trying to find the CG, realised I could’ve just ripped them from the game myself, then many more hours hacking away the images in Photoshop. But in the end I got it done except neuralPLEX added the final touches of fade for me as I didn’t know how to in Photoshop.

So the new name, where did it come from? Well it actually originated from a badge that I designed during my time as an executive of JAUWS. The club wanted to sell funky badges and with me loving most things moe, the first concept was MOE. But Shiori thought we should improve upon that and together we thought up Moe Moe ラブ (Rabu). Thus thinking of a new domain name and name for the blog it originated from this. Below is a picture of the badge, and for the heck of it, some other badges that I have.

So I’d like to thank neuralPLEX for helping me out with all the moving hosting and for actually hosting my blog. There are a few things I want to change in the blog but that is all mainly behind the scenes stuff and a bit of layout. But all shall be done in due time. Also those who have bookmarked the rss feed or have links to my blog, please update them as the redirect will be taken off after a week. So thus, 萌え萌えラブに用こそ! (Moe Moe Rabu ni Youkoso).

Adunitisity is moving and changing

Well after 8 months of being with killingoffpop.com, it’s time to move to bigger and better things. But really all that’s happening is that KOP is changing hosting, meaning more space and bandwidth, but also I have more control of behind the scenes stuff when it comes to hosting (well I did before but I didn’t mess anything around as it wasn’t mine in the first place). So my good friend neuralPLEX is taking care of all the moving for me, I just hand over the money.

But moving to a new hosting means I can also get a new domain. Now with this in thought it also brings up the idea of a new name for my blog. Adunitisity sounds rather corny (and its something I misspell quite often) and it was a name I thought up in 10 minutes at uni one day. So what will this new name be? Well guess you’ll have to wait till until it’s all done. So this calls for a new header image! Time to fireup Photoshop once again.

Need for Speed:Carbon

Well a game post was needed especially after playing Need for Speed:Carbon for 3 days. Having finished career mode I thought I’d give me thoughts about NFS:C.

Now I saw the preview for this game a few months ago as someone posted about it on the PGA forums. I thought it was awesome as I do enjoy playing the Need for Speed series, ever since the good old days of the original Need for Speed. Though how does this new NFS game compare to the likes of NFS: Underground 1 and 2, and Most Wanted? Well to say I enjoyed Underground 1 and 2 more than Carbon.

Well firstly I finished Carbon fairly quickly, only 3 days. Compared to Underground and Most Wanted, after 3 days of playing I would’ve only been about 50% complete of career mode. But I think that also attributes to the easyness of Carbon as I thought the later races would become difficult, like they did in Most Wanted. Though there are a few new things in Carbon that do make it interesting, but can also make it rather annoying.

A new feature to Carbon is the use of team members. Pretty much you form a team consisiting of a maximum of 3 people, but you can only take one of them with you on a race. Each team member have various skills that can you binuses from a race and career overall. The one annoying thing is during the race. I’ve found so far in many of the races that the team members tends to be in your racing line. So say if they are slowing down the chances of you colliding, and slow you down significantly are fairly high. Another point of team members is that other racers have team members as well. meaning that instead of racing against 3 other cars, you have to race against 6 overall. Not exactly fun trying to break through a pack of 6 cars in front of you at the starting line.

Canyon Racing is a new type of racing introduced to Carbon. Simply put you are racing on a downhill canyon run. Like Initial D but in a canyon. Quite a different type of racing but it also reminds me of the last race in Fast and Furious 3: Tokyo Drfit. There was only one thing that I disliked about Canyon Racing and that was the camera angle. If you opted for above car view, the angle slightly shifts to the opposite side of apex corner. This makes it slightly difficult to determine if you have sterred too much or steered too little.

The soundtrack for Carbon I found rather lacking compared to Most Wanted and Underground. Music in the previous games usually give you that excited kind of feeling but in Carbon it didn’t. Hopefully that’ll change in the next NFS game.

Controls are similar to that of the previous games. But also drifting, which was absent in Most Wanted, has returned to Carbon. Though drifting has been tweaked to make it easier to drift. Now all you do is turn with the rear end of the car swinging out, and this even happens for a front wheel drive car, which is impossible without using the handbrake. I am rather disappointed as I like to be able to control drifting rather than have the end swing out automatically.

Overall NFS:Carbon isn’t as good as compared to Underground and Most Wanted. I still enjoyed playing Carbon but it just doesn’t give me the same kind of gameplay like Underground and Most Wanted. Though now that I have finished career mode I most likely won’t continue playing.

Also these are the cars that I had:

  • Mazda RX-8
  • Mazda RX-7
  • Lotus Elise 111R
  • Aston Martin DB9
  • Subaru Impreza WRX STI

The best car out of these was surely the Lotus Elise as it handle extremely well around corners despite a slow acceleration, but a little bit of NOS will fix that.
