A lot of people may not know this, but there are two versions of this statue. one has moving parts and the feather is replaceable with a black rose.

I have to disagree, the plastic may be cheap but the sculpting is excellent. what were you expecting for 20$? This is one of my most favorite figures I own and is the one I always keep displayed at the highest point in the room.

Potato's last blog post..Dai Mahou Touge!

I agree... this figure is not of excellent quality. It does feel poorly made, and feels like an "action figure" toy than a statue figurine.

I solved the base problem by using Tamaya plastic cement - the kind people use for fusing Gundam pieces together. It REALLY holds it together, no more leaning. I also suggest decorating the other side of the cross with a chain and pendant to balance it out.

The pose is quite nice, and the base concept is a pretty nifty idea - certainly a far cry from the flat piece of plastic. The base for the base should probably be a little bigger to carry Suigintou's weight better, and of course a more stable way of attaching the 2 pieces might be nice. A solution that might work is glue, although I dunno what you're like when it comes to using it.
In my opinion the figure was a good effort, but the execution needs a little work. This is of course coming from someone that doesn't own it (yet?) so my opinion might not be the best.

>> icie

I might look into putting a screw in it, but for now, the Suigintou sits right at the back of the cabinet.

36 degrees is indeed hot, but be thankful you are not here during Christmas and New Years as it can get to a scorching 50 degrees.
