Moé Moé Rabu

Members from the Earth and Moon governments are in an argument, but the President calms them down saying that the only thing that should be hot is the tea. In the President’s office, she is shown images of a UFO but diverts the topic by asking Sayaka about how Feena is doing. But Sayaka tells her that everything is fine.

Over at Trattoria Samon, we have Feena working as a waitress again with Jin admiring her wishing she would come everyday. But of course he makes a comment relating to Natsuki and gets knocked outside by Natsuki. Samon asks if Tatsuya can go out to buy groceries and Feena tags along.

Walking along carrying groceries, Feena stops to admire the mug that she saw a while back. Tatsuya notices this and ends up buying her the mug. Tatsuya assumed she wanted it, but Feena explains that she only found it cute, but she ends up accepting it. Watching from a distant is Wreathlit, and suddenly we hear a voice talking to Wreathlit, called Fuyuka, reminding her of their objective.

Feena wants to thank Tatsuya for the mug and wants to give something back, so she leans in to kiss him, but only to have Tatsuya fall out of bed and realise it was a dream. Checking the time he realises he woke up late. Downstairs everyone is having breakfast and Tatsuya joins them. Tatsuya notices that Feena is using the mug he bought her but this causes the both of them to be flustered. This catches the attention of Sayaka, Mai and Mia.

At school, Tatsuya knocks his eraser by accident, but he and Feena happened to have reached the eraser at the same time, but this also catches Natsuki’s attention. Back at home, Tatsuya walks in on Feena in the bathroom, but she says its fine as she finished brushing her teeth, but where she placed her toothbrush was in the same cup as Tatsuya’s. Sayaka is walking down the stairs and sees what happens.

At school the next day, Natsuki brings up the topic about Tatsuya and Feena to Midori, but she gets all excited and asks more about it, but Natsuki decides not to take it further since Midori hasn’t noticed. Tatsuya and Feena are walking along but find it hard to talk to each other. Tatsuya spots an ice cream truck and the both are eating ice cream. Feena offers some of hers to Tatsuya but as he is about to lick it, his ice cream starts falling and trying to save it, it landed on top of Wreathlit, who was watching from a distance.

Walking along to Tatsuya’s house, Wreathlit against hears the voice from before, telling her to use what ever means necessary to stop their relationship. Stopped at a crossing, a car is coming towards Wreathlit, but as her eyes turned red, Tatsuya saves Wreathlit. Glad that she isn’t hurt, Tatsuya pats Wreathlit on the head telling her not to daydream. Arriving outside Trattoria Samon, Jin is asking Natsuki for some money, but this alarms Tatsuya and Feena, who pick up Wreathlit and then see Jin flying out through the window.

Inside, Feena almost accidentally puts Wreathlit’s hat in the dishwasher. Later on joking about Feena putting the hat in the dishwasher, Tatsuya ends up falling over a chair, but the two end up laughing it off. Asking Wreathlit a few questions, she just sits there quietly, thinking that she can’t talk because she’s hungry, Wreathlit’s stomach growls. Natsuki goes off to get her some food, whilst Tatsuya and Feena are talking happily, but Wreathlit senses this as dangerous.

At the Asagiri house, Mai is playing the flute for Mia. But the two discuss how it’s been rather lonely and that Tatsuya and Feena have been acting odd. Mai imagines that they’ll get punished by the King of the Moon and ends up all depressed. Though throughout this, Sayaka is overhearing their conversation.

Back at Trattoria Samon, Feena is helping out and Natsuki gives her a high five. Feena wants to do the same with Tatsuya, but Wreathlit is observing from a table. Fuyuka tells her that if the two continue the Earth and Moon will end and that they want history to repeat itself. Takano is also observing Feena and Tatsuya. Wreathlit grabs her hat and walks outside. Standing there thinking of Tatsuya, the voice tells her to return since they have a duty to fulfil, but then runs off.

Over dinner, Feena is upset that Wreathlit left without a word thinking that she is mad, but Tatsuya says that she shouldn’t worry since it was his fault. Although Feena realises that she sees everything from a princess’s perspective and thinks that she has caused trouble for Natsuki and Tatsuya. Everyone says that she hasn’t, but Tatsuya just pinches her nose, saying that he knows she won’t sentence them to death for bad manners.

Thinking of Feena whilst in his room, Sayaka knocks on his door and wants to talk to him. Sayaka asks if Tatsuya likes Feena but he stutters in giving an answer. But Sayaka explains that she is the princess of the moon and carries a large responsibility. So he tells her that he doesn’t have any feelings for Feena and says that he’ll be fine.

Feena is over at the Moon Embassy talking to Karen whilst doing paperwork, but Karen points out all she has been talking about is Tatsuya. Drinking from the mug, Karen points out that he is from Earth, and Feena is the princess of the moon. Arriving back home, Feena simply just walks past Tatsuya without saying a word.

Impressions

I must say I found this to be the best episode so far in terms of story. The series has reached it’s near halfway point and we’re finally seeing the romance drama that I was hoping for. Of course by now most of the characters know that Tatsuya has feelings for Feena, with the exception of Mai and Mia, it may also introduce their feelings towards Tatsuya, but I find that highly unlikely.

Also we finally know what Wreathlit’s purpose is. Though with her mission to prevent the development of the relationship between Tatsuya and Feena, it appears that she may also have feelings for Tatsuya. Although given that she has some hidden power, her superiors may be from the Moon. But another question arises as that this kind of relationship has happened before. I do hope they cover that part in some way as I have a big suspicion that it could be Feena’s mother.

Animation here was good, pretty much on the same level as episode one, and Wreathlit doesn’t look drawn by a 5 year old. There weren’t as many chibi scenes as this episode does start moving onto the serious side of the series.
