Another day another wonderful item arriving at my doorstep. A package arriving from Amazon Japan and it was none other than the Amano Kozue Illustration Works III -Cielo- and the ARIA the ANIMATION Original Soundtrack. Having bought the first two books, Alpha and Stella, whilst I was in Japan earlier this year I was absolutely stoked when I heard of a third artbook coming.

The artbook is divided into 6 sections each representing the various works that Amano Kozue has worked on. The sections are as followed: ARIA, Roman Club, Crescent Noise, Short Stories/Extra Works, AQUA, and Monochrome Works. At the very end is a message from Amano Kozue to her fans and a link to her website.

Though a lot of the artworks in this collection are ones that you may have seen like covers for the ARIA manga, the various OSTs or images you see on image boards like danbooru. One big difference is that the images you see from the manga and OSTs are cropped versions. The illustrations in the artbook are the full scaled versions and some would make nice wallpapers for my desktop.
Available from Amazon Japan for Â¥3130 and from HLJ for ¥2981 it is the usual price for most artbooks. But seeing how it comes with a slip in case it is relatively cheap. If you are as much of an ARIA fan or just Amano Kozue works in general as I am then this is a great item to buy.
Oh and for those interested, Amano Kozue’s website is here. Her website contains various sketch drawings of her works, photos of Venice, and various photos of her cat.
This looks wonderful. I’m still waiting for my copy to arrive, and I can’t wait.
By the way, I want to thank you because that’s from an article on your blog that I learned there was a third artbook coming. Otherwise, I could have missed it. That would have been a shame.
I decided to skip it since most pictures are from the manga or DVD. Got Aria OST and other manga & figures to collect.

Well the thing about the artworks from the mangas, DVD and OSTs are that alot of them are the cropped versions. In the artbook you get the full uncropped versions plus they are larger which is always a good thing.
By the way, why would you go for amazon.jp when HLJ is cheaper??

I didn’t see it on HLJ at the time plus I ordered other items from Amazon at the time, e.g the ARIA the ANIMATION OST. Plus HLJ packages take at least 2-3 weeks to arrive to me for some reason, must be AusPost. Amazon packages take a week to get to me.

I use economy shipping for everything. Its just a fact that HLJ items take 2-3 weeks as opposed to Amazon items which take a week at most.
