Production I.G’s clappa website are now hosting a trailer for the upcomming Ghost in the Shell movie: Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - Solid State Society. This trailer has more unseen footage compared to the trailer hosted on Danny Choo’s site. You can view the trailer here. From what I have seen its starting to look good, and if I’m not mistaken that was the Prime Minister that did a sideways flip, which is awesome.

Motoko seems to be taking her traditional film role as incidental character rather than star, but that might be explained by the parts of 2nd GIG I haven’t seen yet. Regardless, the trailer looks pretty exciting. :3

Just watched it, awesome stuff sends sends chills my spine. Seems more serious and grim compared to the prior GITS stuff. Sideway flips?
If you want sideways flips the GITS:SAC PS2 game Motoko does it extensively to dodge bullets. I notice some of the cars are more detailed compared to prior GITSs. Fun stuff!! On the same clappa webpage on the right side, whats the name of the anime on the top one inbetween GITS SAC and Blood+? Thanks for blogging it, cheers!
Nah, that’s not the prime minister. She has dark hair and all, you see her earlier. It looks like Motoko in one of her other bodies, to me. Since she did that omg heaps in the manga. But either way, definitely not the PM. (ALTHOUGH SHE IS AWESOME.)
