With Mini-Animania Sydney 2006 over I will now start the long wait till Animania Sept/Oct Sydney 2006. And with that I will be saving for it, as well as Supanova Sydney 2006 at the end of October. But like all conventions that I attend, I NEVER leave empty handed, regardless the size of the convention. So I happen to have bought the following…

The Tintin Complete DVD Boxset is something I was meaning to buy ever since it came out. Just that I always forget to buy it whenever I went shopping. Well for only $65 AU it is a good price with 21 episodes spanned over 6 DVDs it includes character profiles, Hergé bibliography, and information about the original comic books.
Three sets of AIR Trading Postcards that I bought from Yorokonde: Anime Anytime but at $4.95 AU a packet and each packet contains 3 cards. Now I’m not really into collecting trading merchandise, but since these are AIR postcards I bought one at first, but then bought two more. I ended up getting 1 double which I ended up giving to Tsutako. Pictures below are of the postcards I got.

These postcards are quite nice, I was tempted to buy more but at $4.95 a packet I was not guaranteed the entire set. But getting the 2 foil Misuzu cards are the special cards from the 18 cards to collect, so I am contempt with that.
But like every trip to the city requires a trip to Kinokuniya. Looking around I was disappointed that they did not restock the second volume to Amano Kozue’s short stories (I knew I should’ve bought the second volume when I bought the first volume) and they have not restocked Negima volumes 8 and 9 I was stumped on what I would buy. To me walking into Kinokuniya I HAVE to buy something. Probably due to the many trips into the city with Roobar last year but anyway, I did manage to buy something. The first two volumes of Full Moon wo Sagashite.

With Animania Sydney 2006 now only less than 50 days to go, I have looked through Tamarket’s website and have made a general list of what I would like them to bring for me to buy, so far its reached about $400 easily. But since they are heading to Japan later this week, they may be bringing more goodies for me to buy. Only time will tell and I pray when that time comes I have more than enough money since I am not going overseas this year, though I wish I was.
