Monthly Undine Vol 01 and Da Capo 2 Armband

Also arriving today was the first volume to Monthly Undine and an armband of the Student Council from Da Capo 2.

Something I have been looking forward to ever since I saw the pre-release info, and finally it is now here. Monthly Undine is exactly like the magazine that is seen in ARIA The Animation where it features a specific company and a particular person, in this volume Himeya and Akira E. Ferrari. Just like a regular magazine it includes articles, advertisements and even a horoscope at the back which gives it a feel that it is more than just a fanbook.

The other cool thing is that each volume of Monthly Undine come with a miniture setting of ARIA Company. This issue comes with the bottom level with an Akira, Aika, and President Hime. The other two volumes will include the middle and top level to make it one complete structure.

Now lastly but not least, I also recieved in the mail this Da Capo 2 armband. This armband is worn by the Student Council, such as Asakura Otome.

Below is Asakura Otome and you can see the armband on her right arm.

I bought this armband off Yahoo Japan Auctions at first thinking it was very cheap. But I was wrong. After all the service fees and shipping etc you get from a deputy service it ended up costing about twice as much as it was worth. Well not that it matters much to me since I spend regardless of price and its another wonderful item to add to my growing collection of merchandise.

Does the “Monthly Undine” contains a lot of illustrations, in particular by Kozue Amano ? Because I’m wondering if I’ll buy it, and a little advice would be nice. Thanks.

There are a few illustrations in Monthly Undine, some scenary illustrations and there is even a small comic inside. Pretty much all of the illustrations are done by Kozue Amano and I’d say it is worth the buy if you are a fan of her work.

That miniature setting looks adorable. =) There are times when owning a credit card would be too awesome, like now.
