Review: Revoltech’s Overman King Gainer

Finally arriving this morning along with other items, Revoltech’s Overman King Gainer is better than I thought.

Now I watched Overman King Gainer after Shingo from Heisei Democracy recommended it when I met him last year. And it is one of the better mecha animes that I have seen. So after seeing the series, I saw this on HLJ and thought I’d buy it.

Production: Kaiyodo
Size: 12 cm
Release Date: July 2006
Price: 1900 JPY
Available: HLJ

Inter-changable hands and inter-changable blades are a plus on this meaning the amount of poses can vary, and above pictures are a few examples. Quality is excellent except for the fact that the hands are quite hard to put on. Even the green halo is a little difficult but not impossible. Overall a good action figure and this is the first from the Revoltech series that I have bought. Though I’m unsure if I will buy anymore but I may in the future as they are quite cheap. I give it a 9 out of 10 rating.

Quality looks pretty high notch, makes my pre-order of the Ingram 1 (Patlabor) so much more worth it. But, in relation to that one….aside from the sword gun, that thing weirds me out…tentacle hair on a mech?
