Well I’ve finally reached the last two days of coverage of my Japan trip. It certainly has been a long time since then but in the end I’ve reached the end. The last two days of the trip proved to be rather quick and action packed and it was certainly a way to end the trip. Anyway this last post of the Japan trip will cover Chara Hobby 2008, Animelo 2008 Challenge concert and a final trip to Akiba. So hit the jump to read on.

My birthday was just over a month ago and at the time, my friends were busy to come out for dinner. But two weeks ago they were finally free. Though having been to some really nice places in Japan for dinner, I wanted to continue that especially for my birthday dinner with friends. I guess you could say that I’m enjoying the life of fine dining, or in other words just spending big. The problem for us was most of my friends didn’t know which restaurant to go to in Sydney as none of us know the quality of restaurants in Sydney. Actually one of my friends probably has a better idea since he practically dines out all the time. So a bit of help from him and Google we decided on ARIA Restaurant.

During the month of August, my phone contract had ended and it was time for a new phone. I’ve had my trusty Motorolla V3x for just over two years and it did have it’s ups and down, but recently it just stopped getting reception in a lot of places. But over the years, mobile technology has advanced in many ways with phones now packing a lot of features. Though before my trip to Japan, Apple had released their latest 3G iPhone in Australia. So my new choice for phone was pretty easy. Yes I got myself an iPhone.

You know you’re coming close to the end of a trip when your running out of things to do, but also running out of money. The end indeed near, but neither of those things applied to us. There was still plenty on the plate to do and much more spending that I needed doing, but I also made a pitiful mistake at this point of the trip as well. Hit the jump to read on about my small trip to Ikebukuro, my first experience in a maid cafe, and my most expensive purchase EVER!

One thing that a number of relatives were asking me was if I was planning on going to Tokyo Disneyland during my Japan trip. Personally I had never thought about it as it would seem rather strange for 4 guys to head off to such a place. Sure enough if I had a girlfriend I would probably go or if I was with my niece then sure. However Roobar was adamant that he wanted to go but not to Disneyland, but to DisneySea. Once again with nothing else planned for the day and the weather seemingly turning out for the better, we headed out. Hit the jump to read more.

The days are going by pretty slowly at this point of the trip and with only a week left before I return to Australia, there was so little left I wanted to do. But I still managed to find things to do to keep me and my friends entertained. This post covers my trip to Harajuku, Nakano Broadway, Akiba again, Asakusa and the most expensive meal I’ll ever have. So hit the jump to read on.

Ah yes it’s that time of the year again, where one celebrates the coming to this world, or simply another year closer to cheaper car insurance. Yep, today I am now 24 years old, so Happy Birthday me! A lot has certainly happened over the one year since my last birthday but I don’t feel any different. Though my wallet says otherwise in good and bad ways.

Though I’d also like to give a small update on the status of the blog. Recently I’ve been rather busy at work hence the lack of posts over the past month since I came back from Japan. The current anime season has already started and I won’t be covering any of the shows. Well not that it matters since most people don’t read those posts, lol. Actually I’m at a loss at whether I want to continue blogging anime so for now I won’t do so.
My Japan will still come and I’m nearing finishing writing up the next one, and yes I will get around to writing the loot post as I’m sure a lot of you want to know what I bought. I’ve gone through most of it and taken photos of it all. So that’s it for now, so hopefully you’ll all keep reading Moé Moé Rabu.
