Seeing as I haven’t blogged for some time, I figured I should get back on the bandwagon. Since the current anime season has progressed somewhat, there’s not much point in posting synopses for the series I’m watching (Seitokai no Ichizon and The Adventures of Biribiri… erm, To Aru Kagaku no Railgun), so here’s a bit of fun.
I’ll be doing two lists - Yellow Rose and Red Rose. Those of you who know the meaning of flower colours will see where I’m going with this - if not, I guess a crude way of differentiating the two could be Kawaii Imouto and MAI WAIFU. You get the drift.

It’s been so long since the last post here at and I figured it’s also a time for an update. So much has happened over the past few weeks but I might as well start from the very start. Some of you local readers/bloggers as well as my Twitter followers will know that I have moved out of the family home. After so many years of being cooped up in the family home in my small small room, I’ve taken the step towards actual freedom. So hit the jump on reading about the move and why.

So jumping between work, contract work, and packing up my belongings it’s time for an update on the Sydney Bloggers Meetup. With the last post gauging for an expression of interest, the response has been rather positive. Thus it is decided that the Sydney Bloggers Meetup will go ahead this Saturday, 26th September. The time and place will be the China Grand Restaurant (Level 3 Market City, Chinatown) at 1:30pm. I’m hoping that we can get a table around this time for yum cha as this is the best option that I can think of for a gathering. Of course other ideas are more than welcome.
So leave a comment in this post if you are a definite on turning up, and as well as any other guests that you may be bringing along, to this meetup so I can confirm the number of people to be sitting at the table. I will also send you my mobile details in case you need to contact me on the day. Also as a commemoration of this gathering I will have some items of mine that I will be giving away so look forward to that.
Oh and I almost forgot. We’ll be having a special guest coming all the way from Melbourne: Aya Kyunik of Moé Idolatry.

Being a blogger for something close to 3 years now I’ve made quite a few friends. Some locally and both internationally. But of course the Internet is just a means for us to communicate with each other and I would certainly like to meet the face behind the blog. Of course I’ve met quite a few people but having talked to some of you, you’ve also expressed interest in meeting other bloggers who have similar hobbies. So I have decided to call out to those who may be interested in having a Sydney Blogger’s meetup on the 26th September. This is only to gauge interest in seeing who would like to attend such a gathering. A requirement though is that you must have a blog that is currently active and blog about anime related items. If you are, please leave a comment on this post.
Oh and if you have suggestions for places to have a gathering, please let me know. And just as another note, the 26th is the same day as A Night in Fantasia. The meetup will be during the day so there won’t be too much of an issue since I’m also attending a A Night in Fantasia as well.
Usually on the 2nd day of any convention I’m usually more lazier to take photos. But for some strange reason I happened to have taken more photos than I normally would. I’m not sure why that is the case but I guess it would be the number of quality cosplays compared to previous years. Mind you I was also running off 4 hours of sleep so it was quite a feat. Hit the jump to check out more coverage of Day 2!

With most conventions, there is always a second day. And usually the second day is a pretty relaxing day with a less hectic crowd. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to attend the 2nd day but since I got a free weekend pass, I might as well make the most of it. So this time I went solo, no Roobar or Blox with me as they were pretty tired. Actually I was pretty tired as I finished the Part 2 post at 3 a.m! Anyway hit the jump to check out coverage of Day 2! WARNING: Picture intensive post.
